What can you find for fun in the Blue Ridge Mountains? Where do I start? Mercier's Orchard is a must do stop where you can pick your own apples and blueberries during season. They also have a sandwich shop that is open for some fantastic breakfasts with sandwiches right up until closing. And don't forget the signature fried pies of all flavors. Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, tubing down the Toccoa River, Fly fishing, rent a pontoon boat and spend the day on Lake Blue Ridge, hike to a waterfall, shop in many of our antique and specialty shops, ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad along the Toccoa River, go to a play at our Blue Ridge Community Theater, visit our local Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association and view many of our local artists work and of course there is our "one and only" Drive-In movie theater, the Swan Theater (one of the last in the country) There is also bowling, Put-Put golf and of course 18 hole golf courses that feature picture perfect mountain views for backgrounds on each hole.
